Wool Watercolor with Mara Effects

Discover the artist within through the process of painting with wool for a unique, handmade work of art.

Wool watercolor is a unique technique where pieces are created by layering dry wool onto fabric, creating stunning pieces with a 3D effect under glass - complex, layered, vibrant, and rich. No matter what piece you create and what style you use, your painting will have a life on its own, changing colors and volumes every day.

Working with wool is a meditative process with therapeutic effects where small motor skills exercise, calm down, and relax the nervous system. Choosing from one of the three samples, the class will lead you step by step through the process, finishing with your own richly colorful artwork.

The class is $75 and includes all materials. Perfect for any skill level.
