REVOLUTION WINDS - LEADING THE CLASSICAL MUSIC REVOLUTION

Philadelphia-based Revolution Winds is reinventing classical music performance through meaningful collaborations and unique concerts throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Join the Revolution Woodwind Quintet for an evening of varied repertoire that explores the unique sonic colors, character, and individual identities that comprise this amazing group of instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon). Part one of a three part series.

“The theme of the evening is Identity and Unity. This first concert in our series will provide the audience multiple entry points to the sound possibilities of the woodwind quintet, while honoring and celebrating the individual “personalities” that make up each of the five instruments. Composers to include: America composer Valerie Coleman, Georges Bizet, Jaques Ibert and more.”

Tickets are $20.
