Architectural Walking Tour

Appreciate the history and beauty of Media...

Media is a walkable town, rich with arcitectural styles and history.  Learn more by joining us for an architectural walking tour lead by a local historian.

2:00-4:00 PM

Tickets $10. Space is limited.

 

Mary Anne Eves, formerly of the Foundation for Architecture, will lead an engaging discussion and tour of notable buildings including:

  • The Delaware County Court House
  • The Delaware County Institute of Science, one of the oldest public buildings in the Borough
  • Borough Hall, the original post office with original fire places still intact
  • The PNC Bank, built in the French Renassance Revival style
  • and more!

Holiday decorations will be abundant at this time.  Enjoy this walk, the company of others, and the engaging commentary of Ms. Eves.

 

Then, stay in town for the 2nd Saturday Arts Stroll which begins at 6:00PM offering many festive, arts-filled opportunities.
