Overview:
M.A.C. coordinates this monthly arts event. We partner with businesses and organizations in downtown Media to provide venues for local artists to exhibit and perform. Our use of “artist” includes someone who produces visual art, live music, poetry, storytelling, dance, theatre, film and more. We encourage a wide variety of arts!
2nd Saturday is mutually beneficial to businesses and artists: the artists attract visitors to Media businesses, the businesses provide venues for the artists.
M.A.C.’s role as coordinator is to connect the dots: we help businesses and artists find each other. We do not manage the details. M.A.C. produces the monthly map, and issues press releases and advertising, based on the information provided to us by businesses. All pertinent information, including deadlines to get information on the map, is provided via emails to participating businesses.
