District, will be discussing his ancestors. They were slaves who
escaped from Virginia and settled here in Media. Sam will use vintage
photographs as well as historical documents and books to bring us
all back to the days when horses and carriages could be seen making
their way through Media, and when runaway slaves would risk their
lives to be free.
