Did we see you at 2nd Saturday?

M.A.C. had another successful 2nd Saturday Arts Stroll this past weekend, and we hope that those of you who were able to make it had a great time. The Midnighters performed at the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union to an appreciative crowd. And art and music could be found throughout State Street.

Perspective on Media ICONS: Closely Seen

Media’s slogan is "Everybody's Hometown," and Media has been my adopted hometown for the past fifteen years. Although I was raised in Drexel Hill, just a few miles away, a lot of Media's charms - its vibrant State Street, its varied architecture, its wonderful shops and restaurants – only became readily apparent to me when I bought a house in nearby Middletown Township.

Call For Entries: Media ICONS Photography Contest

An exciting opportunity for all photographers is this year's photo contest and exhibit: Media ICONS - Closely Seen.
Focus your photographic talents on anything within the Borough of Media, PA – Close Up! This is the Media Arts Council's 6th annual juried photo competition, and this year four cash prizes will be awarded with $300 going to the first place winner.

Welcome Spring!

Welcome Spring!  We love the sun, the fresh air, and the colors of the leaves and flowers in bloom. And we hope it makes you all want to get outside and enjoy it! If you weren’t able to make it to the last 2nd Saturday, we’re sorry to have missed you. We had a rockin’ good time with Whitewater Pass at the Franklin Mint and loved listening to the unique sounds of Provident at Quincy’s.

Congrats to the Media Film Festival Winners

We've dismantled the screen, packed away the projector, and wrapped up what was another successful Media Film Festival.  The Film Fest has become the epitome of what Media Arts Council strives to do... to provide new opportunities for artists, to bring quality work to Media that might otherwise go unseen, and to honor this work with incredible venues and accolades.
All of the films that were a part of our three nights of film were amazing. But we want to give special attention to the winners:
