The Media Arts Council works to further its mission to actively support local artists and integrate a wide range of arts into the life of the entire community.

Mark Your Calendars for Bastille Day!

M.A.C. is knee-deep in planning for our exciting Bastille Day celebration, and we wanted to share a few of our plans with you.  Please mark your calendars for July 14th, 6:00-10:30pm, in downtown Media.

State Street will be closed to traffic as we transform Media into an arts-filled scene from history.  We'll feature themed performers including a reenactment of the Storming of Bastille by the Hedgerown Theatre, plein aire painters, children's activities, strolling musicians, jugglers, and all kinds of artsy fun.  The Main Stage performance will be the lively Zydeco-a-Go-Go. Outdoor dining will be available as well. Join us for a community celebration of the arts and independence!

(It might also be a good opportunity to bring your camera and capture some interesting shots for the Media ICONS Photography Contest... the arts opportunities continue all year long!)

Support the Arts in Media

The arts strengthen a community in so many ways and we need the Media community to help support M.A.C. so that we can continue to bring fun and free cultural opportunities to you and your families.
