Final bids may be placed and winners will be announced at the This Space 4 Rent Closing Party on May 15th, 6:00pm-9:00pm (winners not present will be notified via phone and/or email).
The Media Arts Council (MAC) is holding an auction of our registry artists’ works to support the Window Gallery. The Window Gallery was awarded a one to one matching grant from the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts and the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. This grant is in the amount of $1,400 and allows us to pay for a manager of the gallery and publicity for half a year. MAC needs to raise another $1,400 for the second half of the year.
Registry artists have donated their work to support the window gallery as an exhibition space in Media. The gallery has monthly shows of local artists’ work. It is a way for people to see new and exciting art in Media and an opportunity for artists to share their work with the public.
Beginning bids are one quarter of the retail price.
